Reviews and Ratings
I had an amazing time at the hotel! The room was spacious with own toiletries and a lovely hamper of teas, coffee, and biscuits. The antique furniture and window view added a nice touch, and the bed was exceptionally comfy. However, being above a loud fan starting before 6 am was a downside.
The hotel had stunning rooms with character, but noise from plumbing and nearby functions detracted from the experience. The service was decent with room service, housekeeping, and a welcome drink offered. The location was convenient, but maintenance issues affected the overall impression. The dining options were basic unless opting for a paid cooked option. The hotel comprised various separated areas, including a lounge bar, but faced challenges with noise and maintenance.
My stay at the hotel was warm, cosy, and simply elegant, despite some limited noise from a wedding in the evening. The room and food were not exactly what I expected for £130 for two per night.
